Hundreds of Westport residents gathered outside Town Hall Thursday evening for the town's first outdoor Christmas tree lighting ceremony in years.
After the tree lighting ceremony, the Downtown Merchants Association hosted a holiday kick-off celebration at Christ & Holy Trinity Church.
